How Are Your Pets Doing in Lockdown
Ask a Question
My pet dog was rescue pet, what we were not told is that he hates walking, and I mean HATES it.Will go in the back garden but not happy too long.
We love him to bits but even the guy from the RSPCA couldn't get him to the end of the road.
Tried all the old treat tricks to no avail, now he's looking sad because no one is coming to the house, he LOVES people.
Bless him.
My Male Dogue De Bordeaux also absolutely loves people, the look on his face when we are out and he can't go up to people to say hello is heartbreaking.
Our cat Roary is loving it as we spend much more time in the garden now which is his domain and he seems pleased to have us there with him
Our springer spaniel is looking more like a sheep at the moment. She is badly in need of a trim! Her claws were also very long, but the vet cut them yesterday when we were collecting medication.
Generally, she is loving us working from home though!
Our Jack, Harvey, stays at home with me all day anyway, but he's a bit confused why the wife is suddenly here as well.
He has been doing lots of woofs at people going past the gate today.
Yes we had him trimmed before the lockdown as we like other people were supposed to be going on a special .
holiday, 50th Anniversary .With him too, but now he's looking a bit raggy and his nails need a cut too.Our vets will not do them and the groomer is closed for now
We are doing everythingood to cheer him up, but he misses the grandchildren
We all love our pets and we all try to give them the love and attention they so badly need .So enjoy the precious time with them and please stay safe Pal
Get some clippers and do his nails yourself. II normally get my dogs nails cut at the groomers too, but I bought a grooming set from Amazon.
I gave her a cut, bath and trimmed her nails.
She has a certain (look at me walk after she gets groomed lol) She was doing after I done her too. So she must’ve felt good ha.
My cat is so over me working from home. I've got a desk near the living room door and he keeps going to it and pestering until I open the door. AS soon as that's done he gives me a look then leaves the room. Pretty sure cat speak for 'you need to go back to the office'
That made me laugh Kirstyyes they all have there ways of telling us when they have had enough of us
Most pets are loving having you home all time its the human pet seperation after lockdown whice will need addressing.
I think a lot of pets are loving having their humans around a lot more! My dog certainly is!
Our dog loving having us all at home. He's my sons shadow at the moment. Hes going to be devastated when we are no longer home 24/7
We are retired and he goes literally every were with us .But he is a people loving dog and he really is missing my eldest grandson.
Bet that sounds strange.
The home we live in was really bought for our dogs,as it had a enclosed private garden
Our cat likes that he's still going outside, but he likes it when there's just me& him when my sons are at college& uni through the day (normally) and he's wondering why they're always here!
It's really confusing for our pets at the moment, I think owners are going to have patience.
I love Harvey, but then I love most pets, just been able to get Pal into the groomers hurrah.
Not while June though
Our dog Freya has been loving it! She is used to my son and I veing at home with her most of the time anyway but she is loving the fact that her daddy dog is home from work. She is loving being able to run in and out the house, barking hello to the neighbours, playing football with our son. Although she is confused why she can't say hello to the delivery people anymore.
He can't run, but loves barking at the postman, .Your dog sounds like he is a bit more for his dad than all of you, he sure is going to miss him when lockdown finishes, then you can get the attention
