Ask a Question

has anyone tried these? I’m not a fan of the original ones, but I don’t mind pineapple and it looks like it might be tasty 😋

I've never tried them as I am not a fan of pineapples! I absolutely love the original ones though! They are delicious. I tend to buy the value jaffa cakes from Tesco and Morrisons, they are slightly smaller but taste just the same.

Thanks for the tip. I don’t like the originals but I know people who absolutely love them and this tip will be useful for them

Our local Co-Op sells big bags of misshapen ones for £1.

Tbh there is often nothing wrong with them other than a small dent or chunk missing.

I have never noticed them being sold in the coop. I will have to have a closer look next time - thanks 🙏

I just wish jaffa cakes came in milk chocolate as I find them quite bitter. I try very hard not to eat anything containing sugar but my efforts are often futile so I would like to try pineapple ones.

I've not tried the pineapple ones yet. Love the original Jaffa Cakes though. I try not to buy them too often because once they are open I can't stop scoffing them.

🤮 sounds gross! Didn't they use to do red ones. I can remember my brother biting all the chocolate off and a red jelly bit. Not sure what flavour they were.

I’m not sure. I’m guessing strawberry or raspberry? That wouldn’t appeal to me either lol

I don't remember trying the pineapple, but did buy the cherry and passionfruit flavours. As Jaffa cakes go they were fine...

I also bought some of the Jaffa Cake Jonuts from Tesco yesterday (currently £1.50 for a 4 pack with a Clubcard). If you like Jaffa Cakes then you should like this variation. They would be ideal for tea dunking.

ACR I was supposed to get some Jonuts delivered from Tesco yesterday, but they were out of stock, so I didn't get them.

Not happy.

I'm sure that they'll become available at the full price.

TheChimp I did notice they were sold out on their website. I managed to get mine from a local Tesco Metro.

They seem to be trying so many different flavours now, the pineapple and passion fruit ones are not flavoursome enough for me, what I really want is a double orange Jaffa cake, where they put double the amount of orange jelly on the the top before the chocolate.

I've only tried the original ones, which I like. I've seen various different flavours for Jaffa cakes but I think I'll stick with the original ones.

I haven't tried that flavour but called into Tesco this morning - a rare event! I wanted to buy the new Jonuts but they didn't have any, however, they did have cherry flavour jaffa cakes!

I have tried the pineapple and it's ok, cherry ones are odd but nice, the blackcurrant are also odd and nice I think. Regular are again nice. I'm sur ether have been other flavours too
