I read that Disney are doing two more and Johnny Depp might not be in the next one the 7th is going to be all women and Johnny. Would you watch a POTC without Captain Jack Sparrow in?
No I wouldn't watch another without Captain Jack. I think they have been slowly watered down with storylines and the loss of original characters. I'd like to see Elizabeth Swan and Will Turner come back.
I thought Depp had refused to do anymore - not only because he wanted to move on from the franchise, him and the Disney bosses had disagreements, especially with the current legal proceedings with his ex wife. I was just watching the Umbrella Academy and thought that Robert Sheehan could play a young Captain Jack Sparrow, if need be. I’m ni5 fussed by the franchise, as I think I lost interest after the second film
Id love another pirates film but only if they bought back captain jack, elizabeth swan and will turner they were my faves
I would love to see the 3 back properly we only seen will and Elizabeth briefly in the last one
Any film project has potential with the right people, but going by past reboot/reimagining efforts it will likely be very underwhelming. Although, I do like Margot Robbie, so would be interested to see how it turns out
