Plans for the Weekend
Ask a Question
I know England is on lockdown but does anyone have any plans for the weekend? A nice walk out somewhere or doing the food shop?
I think we're going to give the house a good clear out and tidy in readiness for putting the Christmas decorations up the following weekend!
I think I may also have to do a thorough clean in advance of the Christmas decorations going up.
I've also just heard my new iPhone is being delivered today, so I guess setting that up will take up some time.
OOOOH you lucky thing. What one are you getting? I have the 11 Pro and really want the 12 Pro Max, but I need a new MacBook Pro as well so can't justify a new phone as well!
TractorGirl327 That's the trouble with Apple products, they are very desirable but very expensive.
I got the iPhone 12 Pro Max 256GB In Midnight Blue, it's a beauty.
blacklabrador There is something about treating yourself to a good bit of tech isn't there? We all deserve a little treat every now and then and the blue one is beautiful.
RegularComper90 Absolutely, I figured that the money I saved on holidays/eating out/being sociable I may as well indulge myself.
I've been dieting for 6 months and managed to lose 40lbs. So im having a giant Chinese and baking scones and cookies. And a nice long walk on Sunday to try and burn some of the calories off haha
Oh, well done you. I'm 2 stone down since May but have a long way to go. Enjoy your Chinese.
TractorGirl327 well done to you. I still have weight to lose but every pounds a success.
Well done. My weight has increased throughout the pandemic. It’s my fault entirely because I do the food shop online and order treats. I have no will power.
It time to put up the Christmas decorations up outside. We have so many it will probably take longer than the weekend!
Working all weekend. I'm a small online retailer and we're busier than ever at the moment....I'm extremely grateful so enjoying it while it lasts ❤
I will be doing some DIY around the house and just staying at home and spending time with my husband and son. I've already been everywhere I need to this week so don't plan on going out.
TheChimp It's a creative set, you can buy the Christmas tree in different sizes. You have to slot a cardboard tree into a pot that's provided. And then there is a sachet you have to pour into the pot. As it evaporates crystals start growing from the tip of the tree leaves. It takes about a day for the crystals to start to grow
No plans. The strange thing is that this is actually a good thing - no pressure and a couple of days free. I would have expected to be bored by free time by this time in lockdown but no. Yay, free weekend!
