Plans for the Weekend?

Whats everyones plans for the weekend?
For the last 2 hours I’ve been sitting down and watching TV (yes i wake up early) and I am kind of getting bored.
Sun seems to be shining today which is a positive but still no motivation to get up from my sofa!
I am seeing myself do this all today and tomorrow.. need to get up!
Rugby, rugby and a bit more rugby.
And then some horse racing.
Will cook the wife a pizza for lunch and a spag bol for tea.
Been up since 4, so I'm hoping to have a little sleep later, but I doubt it very much.
TheChimp Wow that puts my sitting in the sofa and watching tv for 2 hours to shame I might venture out for a walk at least
I'm going to look around our local market on Sunday and try and support some of the traders. Then when shops open on Monday, Im going to make a trip to my local shopping centre and support some more small business to try and join in with everyone keeping them 'afloat'. Anyone else supporting local businesses?
belleshowsdogs Aww thats nice of you! I think it will become really important to support the local traders. I’ve been getting meat from our local butchers (which we didn’t do before) and to be honest their meat tastes better!
MsLamboLova12 Ah that's brilliant, I bet it was better value too? I am a vegetarian so I'm using my local grocers now for broccoli, cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce, cauliflower, potatoes etc. and I'm noticing a big difference in quality, price, and flavour! Stay safe and have a lovely weekend!
Go our walking like I am. The thought of it is crap but within a few strides, you realise how much better you feel.
Dennab I agree! I think a simple walk can make a huge difference to your mood and health!
I’ve managed to go for a walk today, make dinner and also bake cupcakes! Shocking as my mood was completely off this morning! I think the walk really helped. Will be relaxing now and after dinner going for another walk around with the family - shockingly its been a productive day!
I'm just about to go for a walk. Unlike last week I'm hoping to avoid the protesters. Then watch a film later tonight
MsLamboLova12 I watched Perfume: The Story of a Murderer on Amazon Prime Video, starring Ben Whishaw and Alan Rickman. Quite a dark story, but I thought it was a good film.
We are moving house! It's temporary accommodation whilst our builders sort out house so we are in a static caravan a few miles away. It was our first night last night and after over a year of living, eating and sleeping in one room and no heating it feels a little bit like luxury.
rararachel Ooo static caravan - to me that sounds cool but I don’t think Id be able to stay in one for long! Hopefully tour builders sort your house out soon!
MsLamboLova12 we are here until the end of October!! It's pretty good, it's two bedrooms and whilst compact it's much better than home has been.
rararachel Oooo thats a while - goodluck and hopefully it stays like this till Oct!
Husband picked up our click and collect yesterday, today I cleaned the hall and the living room and the kitchen. Son played in the garden for a bit, had a video call with his granny and great granny and watched his cartoons. We don't do anything exciting at the weekends.
MrsCraig That still sounds like a good productive weekend! I think the weekends have blended into one day and to be honest I don’t think they need to be exciting all the time.
MsLamboLova12 everyday is the same at the moment, so weekendd don't seem special anymore.
Saturday is BBQ after hot tub and Sunday family film with Pringles (we get them in asda order this week if not some other treat) followed by roast chicken (if I get the fresh chicken I ordered) its home school all week so try to spend time having fun together at weekend
