Which console is better the PlayStation 4 Pro or Xbox One X.
What are the disadvantages and advantages of the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.
I think I would go with the PS4 Pro mainly because I like some of the exclusives they have. Although both are very good and if you have the money why not buy both when they're on sale.

Xbox Live subscription is usually cheaper than Playstation's version.
The free games that you get with your Xbox Live subscription are usually better than Playstations offerings.
Xbox has Xbox Game Pass
Playstation has it's vr peripheral but it's not as good as Vive or Oculus for PC. Xbox does not have any vr peripherals.
It depends if there are any games you want that are exclusive to a particular console.

I am not sure If I should get a PlayStation 4 Pro or wait for the PlayStation 5 to be released.
The offers for the PlayStation 4 Pro have not been that great especially on Black Friday
If you're buying it this late, don't. The next PS and Xbox are likely to be released in 2019-2020 so you're going to waste £350ish when you could use that towards the next one.
Then there's the eventual "should I wait for PS5 Pro?" 
Anyway, would say PS4 Pro as it has a better library due to exclusives. But if you love the Forza Horizon series, well, you gotta get Xbox or on PC.
There is a event in February hopefully there will be more of a update on the PS5.
PS5 Pro will probably will released a couple of years after PS5.
I will wait for the PS5 instead
zerocenturyzero that's the way to go, I'd say. Waiting then for PS5 Pro would end up on "now I should wait for PS6 or PS6 Pro." Endless cycle. lol

zerocenturyzero Sony has announced they won't be on E3's 2019 so they're already working on some kind of event for PS5.
Nintendo likely too because the 2DS/3DS is really old at this point and not financially worth what they're going for. Especially the door-stopper 2DS (£79.99) unless it dropped to £39.99.
Sony's PlayStation Classic is a rip-off too (£89.99), the 20 games are hardly classics and a good chunk of them are inferior PAL ports which run slower than in NTSC.

Why not just buy an XBOX 360 as a taster for later?
My BF is thinking of getting his first console but cant decide xbox or ps.
Personally i think it just sucks your social life but as we dont have much of one at the mo it isnt going to matter much.

Lydskyd Some people can get addicted but not everyone. It helps to set a time limit
zerocenturyzero My boyfriend plays World of Tanks on PC and he sets a time limit but has been known to play for 12 hours solid!
I prefer World Of Warplanes myself or Unreal Tournament Black Edition!
Getting a console could be a very bad idea but then again maybe we can both play Sims and Sindy and Ken simulations together haha
