Popsockets, worth the Hype?

I was thinking about getting a popsocket for the back of my phone but I don't know whether they are worth the hype or if they are genuinely useful.. can anybody help?

Bought them for both my children’s phones and they are petty col looking. they have small hands and makes holding the phone much easier
makes it easy to stand it up to watch video aswell, thinking about getting one myself now too haha!!
