Possibly a Cheaper Way of Buying a Windows PC/Laptop.

Money Saving

I've noticed that when buying a new/used PC/Laptop some companies and sellers offer these goods with or without Windows installed and/or licenced.

I've just built myself a new PC and wanted Windows 10 Pro installed.

The cheapest I could find from a reputable online retail seller was Amazon for £59.90 delivered. Sellers like Ebuyer are asking over £100.

The legal way I found around paying these prices was to go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

With a 8GB USB stick (minimum) I used the Windows Media Creation Tool to (link above) to put a copy of Windows onto the USB stick.

I then went to Ebay and searched for Windows 10 Pro. I found a reputable seller and purchased a Windows 10 Pro Licence Key for £1.39.

I then installed Windows 10 onto my new PC and during the installation I used the Licence Key I'd purchased which was accepted and my Licence Key was verified after installation.

Now I know this is not for everybody but it could save a few quid for very little effort.
