Have you ever found a deal that was that good you did not post because you wanted the best chance of receiving it yourself.

What do you think of this?

Nope never have always put up the deals I find some things I've ordered myself or things I've just found when I've been looking for something and I hope in me doing this it's saved people money

Sharing is caring Leanne. Kind soul. You invariably get what you need in time anyway.

I have a similar stance to you, I get lots of newsletters with offers and deals and post the best of them, if I want the item I order it. But I am trying to curb my spending 😊

Yes, but that was a "glitch" deal so if the retailer felt it should have been canceled, then they'd be in their right.

I got a lot of cheap stuff in the past and never posted as a deal or told anyone.

If too good to be true I usually place my order then let others know about it. Sometimes there's just a matter of minutes between each action.

I can't really understand why people post competitions - extra entrants reduces the odds of them winning themself.😀

No, I would share it anyway. The glitches disappear within minutes and there's no guarantee that the poster would get the item anyway. This topic reminded me about a recent deal I shared. It always pays to read the entire post. (I did have some fun with the first comment though 😄 )

I liked that deal, a bargain for the mirror, cactus, brush and pot. I would have bought it but I do not need a dressings table.

It isn't just glitches that are exceptionally good deals, one I recently posted https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/deals/sandisk-usb-20-32gb-flash-drive-save-501-amazon didn't last too long though. I particularly liked a comment from someone who wasn't in time "£5.48 now. I was snoozing and losing. Thanks anyway".

Hence my earlier comment regarding best sometimes to order your own before telling others.😀

(incidentally I only found the above deal because I was actively searching for a flash drive - I received three the next day).

davidstockport That's so true. I tend to share free fragrance links when I can and know that one particular brand just never lets me have them. I've no idea why I've been ignored/blacklisted but It's become laughable but sharing is caring...... 😉

sunny101 Take the ignoring/ blacklisting or whatever it is in a positive way... they probably think you smell sweet enough already.😀 😀

Often , Whenever I find a great deal that I want myself , I order first then post it on here . Just in case it goes out of stock after members have read the deal .

Check my deal posts , I will often say "already ordered myself " . (which I have ) . Not only "validates" the deal (ie it is actually in stock ) but also acts as a personal recommendation that I consider the deal to be good .

Doesn't really work for those members who just "click and paste" any old thing , but to those who take a little extra effort to describe their deals such a recommendation should be important ? Of course that is assuming members actually "read " the text of such deals ?

I have always posted a deal, voucher or competition as LD is a community so if it helps others then I will post it.

Yes this has happened a couple of times while searching. I have stopped searching, purchased the item and then put it on.

Frustrating especially when you put the effort in to share the deal with others, I am sure you will help someone, I checked it out.
