Posters on Your Bedroom Wall
Ask a Question
What posters did you have on your bedroom when you were growing up? For some reason I had Gary Newman and I didn’t know who he was. But mainly I had Wham who were my favourite at the time.
My posters were mostly vampire or teen fantasy related. Twilight, Buffy, the Vampire diaries, warm bodies and beautiful creatures. I also had a lot of rock band posters like black veil brides, halestorm and the pretty reckless
The first one that I had on my wall was a poster of Debbie Harry from Blondie which I won at the fun-fair in the late 70s
I absolutely covered all my bedroom walls (floor to ceiling) and wardrobe with posters, mainly from Smash Hits. My first one was Michael J Fox. And Phillip Schofield. Pet Shop Boys were up there a lot.
I would put adverts up as well! I also saved up to buy big posters from Athena. Many a happy Saturday morning flicking through the Athena posters.
When I got to my teens I printed out lyrics from The Smiths' songs in large font and put them up. What a laugh I was.
I got through a lot of blu tak.
You are definitely from my era, it’s amazing just reading all the comments and you can work out how old someone is.
First poster I had was Tom Cruise Top gun. It was removed a couple years later for a collection of Mark Wahlberg aka Marky Mark. ☺
I did growing up. I was very into rock/alternative music so had band posters up everywhere all over 4 walls lol
