Premier Inn vs Travelodge?
Ask a Question
Has anyone been to both Premier Inn and Travelodge and can say how they compare? We are looking at staying in London and the prices seem very similar but I'm not sure which is best to go with, both for this stay and more generally.
premier inn great for families, travelodge great for couples or single occupancy in my experience
Ive been to premier inn and in my opinion it was better... i got wifi and the rooms were nice and clean, i stayed in a travelodge and there was no wifi and the rooms are very basic
Ive stayed in both and thought they were both fine. They are basic rooms but you get a bed, bathroom, tv and tea/coffee facilities and they were both very clean which is the main thing.
I'd always go PI. You know what you're getting, their rooms are all very similar. *Some* Travel lodges are lovely if they've been done up recently, some can be real dives.
I would say premier Inn. My mother in law, parents and granny have all stayed in premier inns near us and highly recommend them. Plus the breakfasts are amazing!
Premier inn were slightly better, but Travelodge have now introduced their Super Rooms in some places which are nicer than Premier Inn rooms now, but they do come at a premium. Standard rooms are still available at Travelodge and although fine for an odd night are pretty basic but a bit dowdy, they are cheaper than Premier thou.
