Price of the New Lol Dolls House?

Hi,who thinks the price of the new lol dolls house (Β£189.99) is over excessive and who thinks it's worth it for the smile on the kids faces. My 7 year old grandaughter wants 1 but I'm in 2 minds about it and really thinking of making my own,what's your view?
My daughter wants one as well but I'm waiting until after Christmas to see if I can get it cheaper. I'll maybe get it for her birthday instead. Or I may get her a different dolls house completely because the lol house doesn't look very good quality for what it costs. However, maybe ask your granddaughter if she'd be disappointed with a different house before getting anything. Or you could wait til after Christmas and probably get one second hand 
Yeah when everyone has paid full price and it turns out the kids don't like it so parents want some of their money back

Chrissy2709 exactly! Lol stuff does hold it's value quite well though so I don't know how cheap it would be even second hand. If you do decide to buy it then try and get it through a cashback website and try and get a voucher code as well if you can.
I would never pay that price, no matter how much my child wanted it. If I was able to get it later on when it was cheaper or get one second hand then maybe, but in this case you are definitely paying for the brand name and I wouldn't be doing it. Plus for that price, it would be the only present they would be gettting for Christmas!
It's the price that's putting me off,I'm a kinship carer and she lives with me so I'm not exactly flush with cash lol I'm really thinking of making 1 from an old dolls house xx

You could have a lot of fun creating your own. Reduce the work hugely by using a wooden bookcase as the base, or perhaps even two, back to back. They are only about Β£20 each on Amazon
If you search on Google Images for LOL Surprise wallpaper it may give you some decorating inspiration!
I have a lot of lol fabric from bow making so was gonna use that but didn't think of a bookcase,thanks for the idea xx
