Probiotics Any Advise

Ask a Question

Has anyone used probiotics and did they help them. Just wondering whether or not to get some as I have had a bad stomach on and off for years.

Didn't really want to waste my money if they are not effect.

This may start you off. I take them in the form of activia yoghurts.

Not really what you're asking but i take Prebiotics. Rather than adding good bacteria aka Probiotics, im feeding whats already there and i have to say it has helped me.

It is good to take both as most people do not have enough good bacteria. I believe you can get capsules that incorporate pre and pro.

Maybe a top up every so often is a good idea.

The following is taken from a competition currently running on the magazine sites to win Liz Earle and fit health package:

With a fresh focus on wellbeing, health is at the forefront of everyone’s mind. One area that is vital to our wellbeing – but often overlooked – is gut health. The gut contains trillions of good bacteria in a system known as the gut microbiome, which among their other jobs, can help strengthen our body’s natural defences – the immune system.

Our good gut bacteria are expert multi-taskers, as well as the immune system, they can also influence our mental health, including stress and anxiety, as well as sleep health and even athletic performance!

Luckily, our friends at Bimuno are on hand to help you look after your gut. They’ve teamed up with bestselling health author and presenter, Liz Earle MBE, Freshly Fermented and The Gut Stuff to give you the chance to get kitted out with everything you need to give your gut the best TLC this winter!
