Problem with Alexa This Morning

My alexa stopped working after 5 minutes this morning. My daughter said it was on her newsfeed that lots of people had problems. It's ok now
telmel I guess so but mine is like it's possessed it keeps coming on by itself and making like a radio static noise when no one has activated it 
Mine been playing up all day but I think that's normal as when you ask Alexa to play a certain song she said she can't find it even though she was playing it 2 minutes earlier.

Mine wouldn’t respond at all yesterday. After uninstalling the app and re-setting the device up again, the only thing that worked was restarting our router.

Mine was out yesterday morning for a few hours.
Had to actually go around turning lights on and off at the switches!
blacklabrador luckily i just had to wake people up the old fashioned way. I only got one song as alarm and look outside to check weather
Yesterday definitely very slow to respond or not at all for a while but seem to sort itself out fairly quickly. Maybe an attack on the servers or something that slowed them down.
BonzoBanana mine was problem when we got up was fine after I got back home. A server problem does seem likely
