It depends on the carpet material and size. You probably wont need professionals for standard carpets, but the expensive ones, especially those made with premium materials and fibre, require a lot of effort and attention. They usually do a great job, and you will get your money’s worth. Just make sure you get someone in that has a good reputation as there are some cowboys out there
