What are pros and cons of switching energy provider every year? I see price comparison sites and it would save me money switching every year. Are there any downsides to this? What could possibly go wrong?

When you switch there are often cashback offers available especially via quido/topcashback & maybe others, on the rare event they sometimes loose your meter on the billing system and you don't get a bill for ages (Sister switched to Npower and only ever got a Electric Bill) Her Gas meter is lost somewhere on the system and they not chasing her for the money either) 5 years and counting...

If your account is in credit make sure you claim that money back before you switch as they don't automatically pay that back to customers unless you ASK!
