Puddings When You Were Child. What Was Your Favourite?

When I was younger my Mum used to make my sisters and I some really old school puddings that we all used to enjoy.
Some of my favourites were rice pudding with a lump of strawberry jam, really tangy lemon meringue pie and bread and butter pudding with really thick custard.
What were your favourites?
Now they look really nice! It's nearly lunch time and Friday so think I might treat myself.
Bread and butter pudding with custard..but made with bananas instead of dried fruit 
The first two you mentioned were my favourites so what can I say lol? But I can tell you the one I hated the most............tapioca.........yuk, we used to call it frog spawn!
Caramel cake and custard was my favourite, now I'm a bit like Greg Wallace, my face lights up at the very mention of pudding.
Philkinellman I love Caramel cake never had it with custard, but I am willing to try!
Fruit puddings are really delicious 
and my favorite is lychwe fruit pudding
Sticky toffee pudding, hot fudge sundae or cheesecake. I used to hate rice pudding as a child, but I love it now
Banana and custard!! That’s all we ever got 
its mad to think that as a youngster I really truly believed it was a treat and loved it! As an adult I wouldn’t dream of smothering a banana in custard as a treat lmao
HannahSunderlan I recently served this up as a touch of nostalgia. You wouldn't believe how well it was received. It was one of those cornflakes moments - haven't had them in a long time and then realise just how good they tasted. (I said nostalgia but 'tween you and me the bananas were just about to go a little soft 
)
angemski haha I can imagine it was well received if someone gave it to me it would bring back memories too. Conflake cakes as well!! What a treat they were.
cornflake cake is my fav we used to have this in middle school full luxury compared to food at home
I never liked school lunches but always looked forward to the day Steam Pudding was on the dessert menu! [Yum, Yum]
Who remembers that vile dessert at school, the one which looked like Frog Spawn? [Urrgghhh]
'Tapioca' I believe and I've just read an article titled 'Official Frog Spawn is the most hated school meal of all time.'
My nana rhubarb crumble with custard! Thank that would be on my death row meal! My mum didn't make puddings and we only have a posing as a treat never home made, sad really.
My Grandma used to make us the best trifle every Sunday when we went to see every week.
Definitely chocolate concrete with pink custard. That was always the best part of the meal.
