Pumpkin Carving
Ask a Question
Will you be carving a pumpkin this year? If so what will you carve? Do you eat the pumpkin you have removed? I love seeing them out and about but wish more people would eat the contents and not waste food.
I did this one of Eeyore a few years back, copied from an online template
With curtailed trick or treating this year I may not bother with the carving, although I'll still grab a pumpkin to make some soup or a pie with.
This is so good. Im useless at stuff like this but my daughter does them every year and they always look amazing
heatherduthie It's quite easy if you fancy trying it, just pin the template to the pumpkin and mark it with a knife or pins.
blacklabrador maybe I will give it a go this year if I get time and surprise my grandson Our village hall is running a competition for the best pumpkin. Obviously they can’t have the usual party so you have to send in pictures of the kids dressed up with their pumpkins
heatherduthie Definitely a good chance to try some carving then, and even if they don't look so good in daylight they look amazing lit up in the dark
My daughter is the talented one I'd probably just cut myself might do one if I can find recipe we would like
There are so many great things to do with the insides! And the pumpkin itself once you are done with the it too! Some great ideas here https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/blog/2019/10/what-to-do-with-pumpkins/
There are now pumpkins made of rubber or something so you just have to cut, than clean him out.
