Pumpkin Pie Kit Kat

Ask a Question

I’ve never tried it, but a friend has just returned from the states and brought some back - can’t wait to try it!

I have tried several from around the world, and my least favourite was the matcha green tea KitKat, and my favourite was the ruby cocoa one they have here

what is your favourite KitKat flavour?

I also tried the matcha tea one, didn't enjoy it and have yet to find anyone who has.

I'd try a pumpkin pie one for sure.

Yes the matcha tastes strange, a bit fishy. Sometimes when the quality of the matcha is not good, low grade, it has a fishy, seaweed taste

I have seen the ruby and matcha ones in B&M. Any idea where you can get the other flavours in the UK in store or online for a decent price?

Sometimes Home Bargains have imported stuff, but it’s pot luck with regards to what you find. I can find most items on amazon but at ridiculous prices - so I tend to only look out for them when on holiday

Standard KitKat is best - Green tea one just looks vile and for the price was highly disappointing with the ruby one.

I thankfully only tried the ruby one recently, as they have a 3 pack for £1 in poundshop. That is the only price I’d pay for them, as they’re not worth it otherwise

The matcha tea green ones are absolutely vile! It tastes and feels like slapping and rubbing your tongue with a tea bag. Never again. 🤮

Lol I actually do love green tea myself, but I will agree that has somehow made a sweet treat into something more disgusting than anything else

hspexy I don't hate green tea but I don't love it either. But I wouldn't want to lick a dry teabag, and that's oddly what these feel/taste like, to me anyway!

I don't like the kit kats at all, must be the type of choc i just find it too sweet, tried a good number of flavours

Yes you’re right, the chocolate is not the highest quality, as there is indeed a low cocoa content for these junk, mainstream chocolates

Yes, this is something I'd definitely like to try. I really like the myriad of Japanese KitKat flavours, including the matcha. I thought the Purple Sweet Potato variety was nice. I really want to try the one that you bake in the oven before eating - https://blog.japancentre.com/2014/08/29/something-new-for-the-oven-baked-kitkats-2/ - I don't know if they are still being made.

Oh wow that looks super cool! I’d give it a go! 😋 Kitkat is popular in Japan as it’s seen as some kind of lucky charm, something you gift to someone else to bring good fortune

I have to admit I did find that the ruby one was nice, much tastier than I thought it would be. But I tried it only recently as I refused to pay the original £2 price tag when it first came out. I def only get them on offer as I would hate to waste food
