Do You Get Extra Points if Deal Featured in Newsletter?

I think I read once somewhere that if your post makes it to the newsletter there are some extra point. Is this still valid? Or was i dreaming?

Hey, thank you for your message. We sometimes give bonus points for glitches, and other random acts of kindness to reward awesomeness, but it is not a given you'll get bonus points for having deals featured in a newsletter.
