Ready for the Coco Pops in Strawberry and White Chocolate Flavour?

In the News

https://www.delish.com/uk/food-news/a35404134/coco-pops-white-chocolate-strawberry/

I’ve come across the white chocolate variety previously, but not with strawberries - sounds like a good way to get some of your fruit for the day 😜

Will you be trying these?

I may be in the minority, but I've not even tried original Coco Pops.

Wow that’s a confession and a half 😂 You are the first person I know that’s ever said that 😊 You haven’t missed out on anything, just sugary rice puffs that turns the milk chocolatey

iamleo hspexy I think the thought of a chocolatey cereal that early in the morning has never appealed.

I do love a rice puff though.

blacklabrador you’re right about that. And it wasn’t good chocolate either, but most kids wouldn’t know that

blacklabrador Chocolate cereals aren't really ideal as breakfasts (even though they are marketed as being breakfasts). But they are lovely as an occasional snack. 😀

I'm not sure if I'll try them. I'm not really a white chocolate fan, but I'm a massive strawberry fan.

I suppose the white chocolate will just make the milk just more sugary...but the strawberries will look pretty

I haven't seen the Strawberry and White Chocolate flavour in shops yet. Might be nice to make into Coco Pop squares.

I did pick up some limited edition Lady Gaga Oreo cookies in Morrisons yesterday. I knew they were available in the USA, but was surprised to see them in the UK. Although, the American variety is more colourful. The biscuit is pink and the filling is green. Whereas, the UK version has a standard biscuit with different packaging

I bought these Oreos last week and was disappointed- although I only paid 9p for them so can’t complain (they’re 65p in the Coop and managed to get further discounts)

hspexy I like the packaging, but the cookies were very underwhelming. Plus, they were a bit too meagre with the filling. I would have preferred it if Lady Gaga had done a collaboration with Jacobs Tuc Cheese Sandwich instead.

ACR that would be an interesting collaboration, and most likely they would do something that made it more gaga 😊

it does sound interesting, but I don't know how good it will be. I will just stick to the kelloggs k with berries if I need some fruit

Yes, it’ll probably be better for you, although most cereals are laden with sugars

hspexy I don't think any of the mainstream cereals marketed for breakfast is good for you - they are only popular because of the sugar

ptenn00 that’s most likely true. I prefer my first meal of the day to be savoury. Not a huge fan of sweet things usually

hspexy I don't mind cereal, as sometimes it hits the spot. But I do prefer whole grains and the ones not for the kids, which are usually sugary

I thought there was a campaign to reduce sugar, isn't there a sugar tax on soft drinks.I was just going into a rant but looking at the box it's suppose to have 30% sugar and despite the colour there is supposed to be free from artificial colours 🙂

I guess they also added the strawberries to say that there’s sone fruit and more natural sugars/sweetness....
