Tried desperately to find the original post.
Just a heads up for anyone in same situation. 
It was for a floral hoodie jumper from amazon. Was priced about Β£2-Β£3..
Mine came today.. But i had ordered an xl. I received small.
I emailed amazon directly. Not through the ordered page.
They gave me a full refund and said I can keep the top.!!
Just posting incase anyone else needs the info.
This happened to me when I bought some silk prints, merchandise from one of my favourite shows, Black Sails. They were really floppy and I couldn't frame them as they kept crinkling up in the frame. I sent an email asking how I return and instead got a refund and no need to return.
One of my friend also tried to return the amazon product due to the mismatch of the color product and it was fully refunded 
That's great. I will give mine to my daughter if she likes it or donate to charity.
With low cost items it is just not worth their hassle and costs to have it sent back. I have returned several items for free with amazon over the years and on one occasion like this they just gave me back the money. It gives them a good rep with user and then they share their experiences. Best bit of advertising for a couple of quid.
