What Would You Recommend as a Gift for a Couple ?

Ask a Question

As my sister lives in Wales & is in lockdown, I wanted to send a gift for her wedding anniversary. I am thinking of sending a food and drink hamper as a gift but not sure if it's a good idea as there is always one of two items people don't like. It's a safe option as a couple's gift, do people have any suggeste?

I think the hamper is a lovely idea. I chanced across these Hubby and Wifey mugs on Amazon yesterday that I thought were fun too

You know them best so why not fill a box and make your own hamper gift with things you know they will like. May work out more cost effective too.

That's a good idea, as whilst it looks better in an hamper a lot of it is packaging 🙂

That sounds a great idea, as I know it can be expensive to post if I made up my own own hamper

I think that supercar driving or perhaps a massage for two would be really nice.

Last week I was lucky to be gifted one of the best if not the best cakes I’ve ever eaten. I had the largest size carrot cake from sponge.co.uk i have no affiliation to this company just the recipient of one of their cakes.

She's your sister so I'm guessing you know a bit about them as a couple. What do they do together? There must be a mutual interests they have together that you could focus on and work around that. Gifts that cost very little but focus on somebody's personal interests are not only more thoughtful but also a lot less money!

Let's be honest, nobody on here knows them so you're going to end up getting responses that focus around their taste, not the interests of your sister and her Mr 😉

I think a good hamper is a fab gift! if you’re not sure if there are things they wouldn’t like you could perhaps look at getting a chocolate hamper with their favourite treats or a box of cupcakes or something similar perhaps🙂

Do they like boardgames? I got my sister and her husband boardgames a couple of time and they loved them. Something fun to do during these housebound times! You could add some tea and biscuits to go with it too 😁🍵
