Recommendations on Anti Mosquito?
Ask a Question
Iv previously used jungle formula with deet which does work but irritated skin but was an absolute necessity. I'm not going to a malaria area so not a necessity but still would like something pretty decent for me and kids.
This is an easy question to answer! Avon's Skin So Soft range. Buy the dry oil. I have a few bottles at a time from ebay for the lowest costs. Smells good, nice on the skin and repels all the bugs. As used by the US Army. They do not sell it as a product for this use yet everyone who knows uses it for this. Read this article.
Interesting I have actually heard this but heard it's the us version that's works. I'd definitely like to give it a go deet is horrible stuff.
MumOfThree It does work! At certain times of the year when I go walking or out to do some astronomy I use this products and it keeps the bugs away.
This one from Wilko works nicely, but if you get irritation from other string formulas, this might happen with this one also https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/wilko-extra-strength-insect-repellent-spray-100ml/p/0250846
otherwise, you can try the anti mosquito bands like these https://www.amazon.co.uk/Body-Source-Repellent-Citronella-Lemongrass/dp/B01ERF2FW4/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=mosquito+repellent&qid=1552082014&s=gateway&sr=8-5
or Ive used this natural repellant by Burts Bees, which works, but I find a tad expensive https://www.luckyvitamin.com/p-10179-burt-s-bees-herbal-insect-repellent-all-natural-4-fl-oz?LanguageCode=EN&locale=en-GB&gclid=CjwKCAiAwojkBRBbEiwAeRcJZAG6fvaSN4XaAO2uh3j4SvjR78s3d5DeOXeMHF2AI6Gj9ut4P8wN-xoCrqYQAvD_BwE
If you can find anything that has citronella in it, it usually does the job
