Do You Recycle Christmas Decor?
Ask a Question
Do you recycle Christmas decor?
Do u store it to use next year?
How do you use all the decor?
My family usually just keep it and out it up the following year. Its saves us putting it in the bin and buying more the following year
We use the same decorations year after year, some of them as have had for over twenty years. We add a few each year. Sometimes we don't put them all out. They are kept in the loft in boxes.
This year I didn't put my tree or wreaths up as I wasn't in the mood. So only had up a Scandinavian wooden Star and Christmas Trees which light up.
Reused every year unless anything gets broken/looks tatty. Everything will be put in attic over next couple of days then back out next year
We store ours and then use it the following year. We purchase a new thing here and there to replace anything that's getting too worn/tatty, but most of it we use year after year.
Reuse. I’m taking everything down today and in the loft it goes until next year. I do like to get a new decoration every year though x
Reuse each year, can’t imagine throwing and getting new ones each year both in terms of being environmentally conscious/wasteful and economic
We reuse ours, but every year seem to keep adding new ones. This year it was the gnomes added.
Amazed if anyone gets rid of it all every year, yes reuse, I gave loads and loads away to friend and charity shop last year ....it's nice to have old ones but add something you are attracted too particularly every year if you can
The kids hand made stuff I keep. They have a craft tree and love to decorate it knowing they made it
I always keep them, the price of Christmas decorations, even small baubles add up. And to buy a new set of Christmas decorations every year would be a lot. I bought 10 new baubles for my tree this year expecting to spend £10 but the cheapest ones still added up to cost me £40
We’ve had the same ones for many many years. May add the odd new thing but it all lives in the loft. Some elves have joined in but as far as my husband is concerned they can stay in the loft!!!
We reuse ours every year, although we only have 2 decorations. My mum has Christmas decorations that are older than me and she still has the ones I made when younger. I don't see why you would throw stuff out if it still works and looks OK
We have so much stuff I took me three days to get it all down, from inside and out. It all gets stored back up in the loft apart from the real Christmas tree which has been growing in my front garden for five years.
