Redecorating Ideas Please
Ask a Question
I work from home, I need my hall looks nice for my kids and work. I painted the walls with white paint which looks good for a office but too bad for a living room :/ walls, ceiling, windows, doors everything is just bright white.
Please give me some ideas to make it a little interesting and pretty. I have wooden affect laminated sheets on the floor.
I mostly work online and make vedio calls but now when lockdown is over I would have homecoming clients as well.
You don't necessarily need to paint if you're walls are white, you could add lots of accessories (mirrors/pictures/plants etc) to make it look good too
I had a wallpaper I painted ny walls to look white so they can give office/formal look. The plants that's a good idea thanks
I really like pastel colours for walls, I find them a lot less harsh than brighter colours. A pastel green would look nice and it would go with the laminate flooring.
Pinterest is great for inspiration too.
Good idea but I panted white already ans floor is laminated too, I like green too its very refreshing ☺
That's a good idea, in fact, I wanted to out a DIY wall clock but forgot it till now you mentioned it. Thanks.
Our living room was magnolia and I just added accessories to add colour to it. I had throws on the sofa, cushions, rug light shade, storage boxes etc in chocolate brown and cream. I think as long as your house is clean and tidy your clients won't care how it's decorated.
I don't have a garden do I try my best to have max free area for my kids to play I like to add wall hanging stuff rather then putting things on the floor.
WindowShopper we used to use our rug as a playmat for our son when younger as it meant he felt like he had his own space.
We don't have a lot of stuff in our house, I had a clock and 2 pictures on our living room walls and that was it, I can't deal with having too much clutter.
MrsCraig same here I like space, especially, when I don't have a garden I need to give kids somewhere to play.
WindowShopper we are lucky as we do have a garden but even then the living room is still full of my sons toys!
I google colours what I think might go together
Also Dulux do a room ideas app thing
But could just keep white walls
And have a statement wall add accessories to walls
