Do You Relax on Weekends or Do Housework

I catch up all week on my housework and it just gets trashed of a weekend. I even find myself tidying at weekends too and get annoyed that I don’t get much time to relax. we Have a busy household and the kids tidy up to a point but not quite old enough to do big chores.
What is this relaxing of which you speak? I clean the house every day, our son is fantastic at making a mess but too young to tidy up. My husband helps to a point, he does all the cooking, just doesn't tidy up after himself!
Lol I may or may not get a lay In tomorrow mornin. In fact I insist on it because I’m shattered.
I have a 1 year old so you can imagine how much mess he creates. (As well as my other half)If I don’t do housework the Untidy house drives me insane. we have 5 kids this weekend and 3 of which live here in the week. (my boys) And my other half is generally good but seems to be lazy on a weekend and it really annoys me
LenoirLenoir I also have a one year old, so I know exactly how much mess they create! How can someone so small create so much mess in such a short space of time! My husband insists that saturday is his day off and he likes to have an afternoon nap. He does look after our son so I can get stuff done.

LenoirLenoir this morning I've done 2 loads of washing, put the dishwasher on, cleaned the kitchen and tidied the living room. My husband did make me a lovely cooked breakfast. Enjoy your well deserved break x
I work long hours 5 and 6 day weeks alternately so am too tired to do much on week days. So yes, I tend to do housework and cooking at weekends. Today I started about 11 and have just finished, around 5, 4 lasagnes and 4 dozen mince pies.....Frangipane ones, crumble ones and ordinary pies. My back is killing me lol.
Twice a month my daughter goes to her dads overnight i always say ill have a day relaxing but it never happens i always end uo doing washing, hoovering, changing beds etc but i do feel better when its done and im not as busy in the week
Every weekend I do the proper clean which is a deeper clean of the bathroom and toilet, changing bed linen, and hoovering and mopping, and most of the laundry!
I think I've got a pretty good mix. I don't get chance through the week as I work away a lot but I also work on compressed hours over 4 days so I get to have a long weekend and plenty of time to catch up on cleaning
I tend too on busy weeks just leave the house work until the weekend but I am quite lucky rhat I can work from home so sometimes I may use those days to get a bit done if it’s especially bad
