Do you believe this new M&S campaign? Would it make you shop there more?

I believe they do have high quality items, but not so sure about the prices...

I do quite a lot of food shopping in M&S. The prices on many items are comparable with supermarkets. For, example, a jar of their own peanut butter is only £1.35. Although, this type of campaign won't really change my food shopping habits. Lidl have also been doing a similar campaign - Big on Quality - over the last few years, but I only really go there every once in a while to buy their mature Welsh Cheddar and Ritter Sport Chocolate squares 🧀

You’re right. I reckon it will make people who think M&S are expensive to pop in and have a look, and they will find things that are quite reasonably priced. I personally like their snacks, and often crisps and tortilla chips when they’re £1. But a week’s shop at M&S? Not a chance

I have to say they have a few of my favourites like their snack selection. Their tortillas are £1 a pack which is very affordable and Percy pig jelly is a good one too. They have the best price reduction when you go before they close and their quality is really good. I don't do my weekly shop there as it adds up and it is out of my price range for now.

Yes, you’re definitely right about the price reduction. They can be quite generous, and sometimes give stuff for free...although they seem to have less moments of generosity nowadays

I find different items in different supermarkets I like so often rotate where I shop but M&S isn't on that rotation at all. I pretty much never shop there but when I have the quality is generally fantastic but I just can't afford to shop there but some of these prices look very reasonable and if the quality is as good as normal M&S products then it may be hard to say no and I may end up there quite regularly. I used to love their chill tray lasagne and cannelloni but it was years ago that I worked in the town centre and went there quite frequently.

Definitely have a good look whenever you get a chance to visit one, because they are currently doing large reductions on branded items to get rid of them. Normally the prices are so high, but when reduced, it’s often cheaper than the other supermarkets

I’m a fan of M&S and wish I lived nearer a food hall. I would certainly shop there more especially as they‘re making an effort to be more competitive.

I do love their products,j have a food hall just 5 mins away from me,they do reduce their products quite early in the day,I've had some right bargains from there.

I always get the earl grey tea for my Dad from there, the chocolates are nice too.
