Reported Duplicate Deal but Still There

I posted the new Co op meal deal and have reported the duplicate post numerous times but its still active, i have also commented saying i posted too. It has 50 votes against my 3 and has been featured in the daily email

Sadly we sometimes miss the reports / don't get round to them before we send out the newsletter email.
That's our bad in this instance but as the newsletter has already gone out we'll keep both of the posts live this time so people don't follow the link in the newsletter and end up lost.
It's in the pipeline to be able to merge duplicate posts so that the comments from the duplicate get copied across to the original rather than just being lost forever!
I've given you some bonus points as it is a great deal and we appreciate you sharing it as rapidly as you did! 
thanks but when you make the effort to post a deal and other people post the same deal and gets the credit it makes me think whats the point. I am probably being over sensitive but keep seeing certain people`s deals getting more likes than others (which is worse if its the same deal)
Have had the opposite problem. When I find a deal I do a search before sharing it. Quite often the search doesn’t throw anything up, only to be told later that the deal had already been shared. This obviously means time wasted and feels like a slapped wrist!
I wonder why the whoops message doesn't come up. That should stop duplicates of people take notice of it. I have had duplicate comps get through but certainly not on purpose so I don't take it personally if computer says no 
I hate that so much. It's so frustrating. All the time spent in finding a great comp/deal only to later be told that I have been pipped to the post. 
I guess nothing is perfect, and that includes LD.
