Resistance Bands
Ask a Question
Recently bought some resistance bands but must admit they have been out of the box once!! Are they any good at buying muscle?
I bought them last year and I admit they have only seen daylight a couple of times. I think they're great if you can attend a class with a well defined workout but that's not going to happen any time soon. I'm sure they are good for muscle building, but unless you are really well disciplined, it becomes boring. I've since bought a vibration plate and that's definitely been much more fun. (before anyone starts with the funny comments - yes, there are specific exercises )
lilyflower Isn't it strange how you just know the usual suspects would pick up on my comment. Love the gif! (I haven't sunk that low yet but never say never )
sunny101 I gave up taking life seriously ages ago. Life is for laughing, living and being happy, that's why we retired with just enough to get us to retirement age, our motto 'we'd rather be poor and happy than rich and dead'.
I use them everyday, not for muscle building but just for some of my physio exercises and they have helped me alot
They are amazing, you can add resistance to your ability and build up,great to use for squats etc, lots of youtube vids available x
Iβm currently using them daily when doing my stretches. They help with your core strength. Its not an intense workout, but there are benefits
