I thought this was such a nice story, that these fire fighter all voted to sell this to raise funds for treatment for Gavrilo Djurdjevic, who has spinal muscular
atrophy. It just proves that there are some genuinely good people out there !

how does anyone have that amount of money to spend on a football collectible 
Ive not got that much money in my life savings 
There are some really rich people out there, sadly not me, I havent even got a tenth of that 
Whilst Ronaldo might act like a brat, he himself is very generous and donates a lot to charity and has helped numerous people with medical expenses.
There are some very nice people out there. If I had £54K I don't think I'd spend it on football memorabilia but then again if I could afford to spend £54K on Football memorabilia I would probably have enough money that I wouldn't miss it!
I'm glad Ronaldo gives to charity, I am not a football fan and think they are all overpaid
beccatavender oh I agree that they are overpaid. I am a football fan but there are some players that, no matter how talented, are paid too much and some of the transfer amounts are just ridiculous!
I know there are a number of footballers that give a lot of money to charity and I know Ronaldo is one of them.
