Rubbish Photos of the Greenhouse and Garden

Wrong time of night with the light in wrong direction but it is the only time I get if I want to take any photos. I'm going to be taking some as I can see the progress as the garden progresses. I have a 'small' amount of seedlings and plants in the greenhouse which now fill it completely. 
lilyflower me and my shadow. That's the only kind of selfies I do nowadays. I don't like being in photos anymore. There's this middle aged woman looking back at me. In my mind I like to pretend I still look like I did 20 years ago. When I see the reality it scares me.
lilyflower If I has access to the photos of me as little girl, I'd post one of the ones of myself aged 3 with a watering can following my granddad around his greenhouse. I started young.
The archway covered in roses (not in bloom yet obliviously) that leads to the greenhouse and onto the rest of the working part of the garden, ie, veg beds, fruit trees, etc. 
I will have to try and take some in the morning of other areas I think. Well, there's a look my babies growing in the greenhouse. 
This is how my lockdown is going. I'm enjoying myself.
angemski After having lived where I did for 11 and 1/2 years with horrible neighbours who made my life a misery and watched my every move in my little old garden and just ruined it for me. I couldn't go outside the front door or back door into the garden without their being someone in a window watching me or some incident occuring with the neighbours, to be able to go outside and just be me without knowing I'm being watched is so nice. I can relax here. I was on edge constantly at my old house as I never knew what my neighbours were going to do next. Also it is quiet. I had huge problems with my neighbours and noise. Also no one is kicking down my fences here and doing criminal damage to my property which happened all the time at my old house. It is peaceful here and well, as my mum put it I was 'under siege' in my old house.
angemski Looking back, I should have sold up and moved long before I did but I spent thousands on the house and I didn't want to leave that for someone else to have because it wasn't in a very good state when I bought it and I did it all up, including the garden, just to end up having to sell it. However, where I am is so much nicer, I guess things do work out for the best. This feels like my forever home - as if I was an adopted cat I had to buy my 1st house because that was what was available, what I could afford, etc. There wasn't much choice. This house is lovely and the garden I just love. The neighbours who I've met have been nice and I had 2 cards welcoming me to neighbourhood pushed through the door when I 1st moved in, which is a huge improvement on my old neighbourhood.
Very. Planting seeds is the easy part. Having to pull the tree roots out of the veg bed and prepare it for planting took me several days. I've also dug up another part of the lawn for another raised bed. Then there's the roses that I inherited that took me 3 days to prune/sort out. Also cutting down down branches, digging out brambles and nettles, lawn mowing, etc. I'm outside every day for about 7 hours working on the garden.
Excellent. A friend of mine has been digging up his garden like it's an episode of Ground Force. Are you planning to become self-sufficient with all the veg?
Wow, Well done. That archway will look fabulous once in bloom. We inherited an allotment a lil while ago that was in a terrible state after being untouched for over 2 years by the previous owner. We have only just made a start on it in the last couple weeks. I may post some before & after pics here when we have achieved some more clean up & got some things planted.
I cut back probably half of what was up there. I don't think anyone had pruned those roses in years and years. They were so tangled up. Took me 2 days just to sort out the roses around the arch. They have black spot due to neglect. I haven't started trying to deal with that yet. The roses all over the garden are now budding up. Yes, please do share some photos.
Do you know what sort of Rose's you have? I think Rose's are one of my fav flowers, I love the dusky pink varietys (new dawn?). Here is a pic of our allotment I took a few weeks ago.
This was after we had strimed & cut all the overgrowth back. The overgrowth we have left at the back there is because we discovered a family of foxes are living in there & couldnt bring ourselves to destroy their home. We've since removed that black sheet, & dug it all up. Il post more pics as we go along.
I don't know as there are climbers, shrubs.. I have a thomas beckett rose I was bought for my birthday last year in a pot but I don't know much about roses. Maybe once they flower it might be clearer. They are in a bit of a state. Clearly not looked after for years and years. A lot of black spot. The allotment looks a bit bleak in those photos but new life blooms quick. Keep us posted on how it is going. I wish I had a strimmer. That would be handy for the last 'wild' part of the garden I haven't really taken on yet. The stingers are getting higher.
ShellyAnn Oh I'm no expert either, My OH is a gardener by trade so the little I do know is just what iv picked up from him & his grandad. Yes the allotment is bleak, no one could quite believe we took it on but we like a challenge 
. I can't wait to get things planted. Il post again once we have made further progress.
