Running Shoes - Can You Recommend?

Looking to buy a pair of running shoes. Not too expensive as I’m not going to be running miles, well not yet anyway. Any recommendations, looking for comfort.

I like New Balance trainers, they're good quality but also not as expensive as other popular brands.

I like adidas, asics and inov-8. Would suggest you go to a specialist running shop for a gait analysis. Staff will then recommend running shoes that are right for you.

Always like nike and got some zooms at the moment which are really comfy

It can depend on what sort of running you are doing, such as trail or road. I like Salomon for trail runners and Asics for road running. Definitely try and get to a store to try on and as ACR says get a proper gait analysis (though any shop that does this won't be cheap but I did manage to order from an alternative shop online - I did feel a bit guilty though).
