Rusk Biscuits - Are They Healthy?

Ask a Question

Anyone can give me an opinion in these biscuits? I am trying to give healthy food to my child and he seems to like them but the sugar is quite high.https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/252387000

G0501 I can't believe they sell this for babies as there aren't natural sugars

GSM oh i didn't look that close, just at sugar content. Wow that's crazy. I guess I'm too trusty as it's meant for kiddies

A lot of these so called healthy biscuits aren't really all that healthy at all. They may contain more fibre and/or protein than standard biscuits, but still contain a lot of sugar. My best suggestion is to give your child a well balanced diet whilst making sure they get adequate exercise. Good luck. 🙂

I have never given my son rusks, I used to buy the Heinz biscuits for him, but I looked into it and they had the same amount of sugar etc in them as a normal digestive biscuit and a malted milk. I no longer buy him baby biscuits but just get digestive and malted milks, it is much cheaper too.

You’re probably better off making up your own, as anything sold in the supermarkets are laden with extras you don’t want
