Sad News about a Rhino Killing a Zebra in a Zoo

I absolutely hate zoos. Before technology I guess they were the only way of seeing wild animals but I believe there is no need for them now. Online you can see and study everything on earth and on t.v. documentaries you can even see more than with the naked eye. I think it is cruel to keep wild animals caged even in a large space. I know they do lots of research etc but surely they can find another way to fund it.

I've never been to a zoo in my life, l personally feel its cruel to keep animals in captivity and to be stared at, yes they are being cared for and fed so they don't have to hunt for their own food / are not hunted by other predators, but l don't believe anyone should be able to control another living creature....its just very sad to me, the same applies to circuses, animals should be allowed to live in their own environment/ habitat, they are not for our entertainment.
