Sainsburys Offers with Nectar, Suddenly Stopped
Ask a Question
Hello, I have always got weekly offers with nectar for sainsburys, many if which I used. The past 2 weeks it just says I don't have any and to check back.
Anyone else no longer receiving them?
Looks like this week the product offers have gone and been replaced with £10 off £80 spend or £5 off £50 spend (varies by customer ) .
I rarely use Sainsburys but my offers alway seem pretty much the same, so many points for brocoli, so many extra points for eggs etc etc. Just checked and they are all stil on there. Wish I'd checked the partner offers tho as I spent over £300 on a cooker from Very and could have had triple points
Im terrible at remembering to check the partner offers too! So frustrating when yiu see in hindsight, especially the big spends!
Yes! I was going to contact them and ask what I had done to offend them. My husband still has the normal ones. All I have is 5x points on a £20 spend. Rubbish!
I have nothing but glad I'm not the only one. Not sure what's going on?! Hopefully they come back soon!
I received my weekly Nectar offers on Thursday. I'd probably shop in Sainsbury's less frequently if I only got £5 off £50 type offers.
I get random useless coupons from the machines. Tbh it’s not a good reward scheme for me, but it’s also not the worst
I had an email from Nectar with Sainsburys vouchers in and I don't even go there very often.
Same here, no word, no warning. Pretty poor show really and puts them in danger of losing my loyalty
Agreed! I used to get decent extra for certain items, then changed to minimal and often then wasn't worth it compared to tesco etc!
FG280 now that you mention it, no, not one offer. I redeemed a large amount on my nectar card about 2 or 3 weeks ago and thought it might have been connected to that. I’ve shopped in store since and didn’t get any offers either. Shame really as none of the supermarkets seem to value customer loyalty.
I'm the exact same, redeemed quite a lot to spend in Argos, then suddenly nothing. I was wondering was it connected to the big push to get new members, then too many to handle, so reduced the offering?
I still got mine this week but I have noticed they have not been as generous lately. I was often getting 200 to 350 extra points on my online shop but now lucky to get 50/60.
Me too, then suddenly nothing! I used to get 100/200 extra for certain items, then changed to 10/20 and often then wasn't worth it compared to tesco etc!
I guess they got fed up with people like me getting 40 points for buying carrots reduced to 20p!
Still got mine this week 5x points on £20 spend , extra points on milk, Bananas, Stuffing mix, whole chicken and coffee, also 5x point on fuel at my local Esso.
I have just contacted Nectar. They said we have new and exciting offers on the way and there may be a slight delay before we get them. So keep checking!
FG280 Thankyou. I didn’t think to look on there. It’s funny that some people are still getting offers though. The person who replied to me repeated that it was going to be exciting!
They seemed to be moving away from the vouchers to loading your phone app/nectar card with deals that you had to accept. I think I prefer the generic £x off a £y spend.
Yeah, I had been loading to the app since last Sept. In fact I only used the app, but suddenly stopped getting any offers. Apparently all part of a refresh of 'exciting new offers'
After 3 weeks of none, I got some today! Not very impressive and limited points, but better than nothing!
FG280 yes, some offers appeared today on my app too. Suspiciously, just after I had shopped in the store Bizarrely one of the offers is on an item that has been discontinued as I had asked an assistant about it in the store. Pretty useless offer on that item then.
HappyTravels me too! I did a very very small shop, came out and an hour later had offers!
I got some today after 3 or 4 weeks. Only 10 or 20 points. So much for the exciting news we were told was coming.
Mine are all 10 /20 points. One for 120, but for an item I have only bought once (for Christmas), whereas before the higher points would have been tailored well for frequently purchased items
