I have a works pension but have taken out a couple of ISAs which mature when I am 60, I'm 54 now plus I am trying to save more in preparation
Works pension salary sacrifice. More bang for buck imo. Should have joined when started with firm as been there a hefty time now.
Same here AVCs on the firms scheme , a no brainer , free 20% onto your contributions . Wish I'd put more in earlier when the firm matched our contributions .
If I make it to pension age, all my family and friends will be surprised!
I do have a works pension who were very generous in their contributions, but I'm just going to hope it's going to help MrsChimp with a widows pension tbh.
Only 20%, Golfforall?
I’ve used my ISA allowance most years and invested in unit trusts and shares. It has been a bit worrying over the years with various crisis including the Covid pandemic and the 9/11 yet I’ve retired early, yay.
I have a works pension but I also put all my old previous pensions into one (they were only small individually) through Moneybox which I can pay into as well
