School Reunions - Would You Go?

Ask a Question

If you were invited to attend your very own school reunion would you go??

Would you like to find out what everyone is upto now or would you rather not go? 😊

Has anyone actually had a school reunion before?

During what is going on at the moment? Most likely not.

Under normal circumstances? I probably would. Be interesting to see what everyone looks like now and have a chat to some of my old mates. 🙂

I have never been to a school reunion as of yet.

Christ no. Life moves on. I am a very different person than those at school will remember me. I suspect I'd find the same of others I was friends with. My best friend from school is still my best friend now & I still occasionally see & speak to a couple other old school pals in town. No one else I'm particularly interested in seeing again tbh.

This really spooked me! Word for word this is what I would have said. I have no interest in meeting them - my best friend feels the same.

Nope, i wouldn't. I've not kept contact with anyone from school and have no interest in meeting any of them again. I've bumped into a couple of school people when on holiday at my parents and it was awkward and not nice so I wouldn't put myself through seeing the whole lot of them.

I wouldn't. I still keep in touch with a few people from school, the ones that I actually want to talk to, the other people that I went to school with I have no interest in what they are up to now. Besides you could probably find out from social media if you were that interested. I'm not going to travel 4 hours to find out about people that I didn't get on with 15 years ago!

Id love to go, although im now hundreds of miles away from the area id make the effort to go, i was such a "shy skinny geeky" kid. I was bullied every single day of my school life. Im not that girl anymore, im full of confidence, id love to go and confront a few people i really would!

I dont think I would bother... I live 450 miles away from my school now but even so, with Facebook and social media, I see what everyone is up to anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️

No definitely not. I would probably feel as out of place as I did back then

Nope. Moved on from those days and the only person I speak to and see from the school days is my best friend.

Nadiaparveen I wouldn't be interested in a reunion and from what we've all learned from the American reunions and their particular one-upmanship I would avoid them. What about you? Have you ever attended one? If so, did you enjoy the event?

angemski yes that's what it sounds like doesn't it ? No I haven't personally .. we did do a school get together after a year but that is not a really a reunion. I don't think I would go now.. I would feel out of place but I suppose at the same time it would be interesting to see what everyone are upto now. Thanks for asking ♥️

We moved house which meant moving school when I was in year 8, hated my new school from the time I went there, so no would definitely not want to go to a reunion or be reminded of it.
