You are right I, if it wasnt for the meteorite that scientists think caused their extinction they would have become the dominant species on the earth and humans might never existed
Well we are in the Pleistocene ice age now which I think has been going on up to 40 million years, a large number of dinosaurs went extinct about 65 million years ago. The artic could have been a lot hotter back then even tropical. Same situation with the Antarctic. There is a lot to discover in the antarctic for sure.
