I think Annie Lennox should have been given the role - she is a real ass kickin Scottish lady!

I'm not sure who it should have been, but I think that Annie Lennox would have been an awful choice! Not saying she isn't a kick ass woman but she wouldn't have made a good Mary Queen of Scots

Apparently she is the top choice in a recent survey thats why i asked the question on here!

I think she is great, strong woman and great voice not so great looking but neither was Mary apparently!

Lydskyd I didn't know that! I agree that she is great and she is a very strong woman with a fab voice, I just can't see her as Mary Queen of Scots, can't explain why though.

MrsCraig Because of the skinhead and Eurythmics image lol

She actually looks quite lovely with her long blonde dyed hair i thought!

As a natural redhead she would be even closer to Mary who was a redhead too!

Lydskyd you are right, it is because of her skinhead! I imagine if she had long red hair she would pass for a very good Mary.
