Sean Lock Dies Aged 58 after Cancer Battle
In the News
I was totally shocked and sadden to read this headline, as I wasn't aware he was ill. I was lucky enough to see him live a few years ago, a very funny man.
I was quite shocked when I heard, sad to hear. I will probably watch a bit of 8 out 10 cats tonight
blacklabrador Dry is definitely the word.
Used to watch him on 8 out of 10 cats mainly.
He was so sharp.
I didnt recognise his name but when i saw his face i realised who he was, very sad, a very funny man
He was one of my favourite comedians, and was always really good on 8 out of 10 cats with John Richardson, he will be sadly missed.
I saw this on the news this morning, very sad. Not a fan of 8 out of 10 cats myself but I've seen a lot of clips of him on Youtube and liked his humour.
I think he must have kept it quiet, which is understandable. Not ever one in the public eye wants to share their private life, unlike others who over share.
very sad indeed. I take my son to comedy shows when they come down this part of the world - and he was on our top five list of comedian we wanted to see. Genuinely funny guy and clearly loved by fellow comedians too as you can feel the love they had for him.
I was shocked to read this earlier today, such sad news. I found him very funny. Apparently he only told his very close friends and family that he was ill.
He was incredibly funny at times and great for friday night viewing. I must admit I did just try to watch 15 stories high as the complete series is on youtube but not so impressed with that but sometimes these series grow on you. Just horrific that he died so young.
Anyone remember when Maggie thatcher died talking about a state funeral it sums him up perfectly
