Search Function needs fixing

The Search function is driving me crazy!!

Is there anything you can do to turn ‘auto word recognition’ off, so that the word or phrase typed in is NOT SEARCHED FOR until the user clicks on the SEARCH button? Try typing in ‘Black Friday Deal’ - and you'll see it’s almost impossible to use the Search Function right now.
