Little children do not know how to social distance! Go to any playgroup or nursery and the kids are all interacting with each other. The problem is that children are carriers. They could pass it on to their teacher, who doesn't know they have it, then they pass it to their partner, who is a key worker and they pass it on etc. I think it would make more sense to send older children, such as 13 years up back to school first as they know how to social distance. I personally think June is too early to be sending children back to school. I am worried that there will be a 2nd wave and we will have to go into lockdown again.

I have three kids. A 3, 7 and 10 year old. I am really unhappy to send them back to school at the moment. I understand that the proposed system would be of reduced class sizes to aid the social distancing and although Im confident that all of the older children would try to be socially distance, I don't think that it is practical. With regards to the littler ones, I really cant see how that is possible to return them to school/nursery/playgroup with confidence. Little ones in particular in my experience, in the first instance don't listen!! lol More seriously however, they do not understand the dangers of many thing as they naturally live their little lives in a state of exploration. They are unable to socially distance themselves and not touch their faces etc as it is simply not in their make up. Personally I will not be sending my kids back to school until I feel that it is safe for all concerned and I would rather take my information from the teachers unions over anyone else at to whether schools are safe zones or not currently.

I have a 4 years old and she can not social distance, she wants to play with kids. They touch the same things...I have no idea how the government imagine it will happen.

Yeah, they're not going to social distance. The government haven't thought this through at all. Don't send them back, whatever their age.
