Sensitive Shampoo/conditioner Recommendations?

Ask a Question

Does anyone have any recommendations for shampoo and conditioner for sensitive skin and scalps? Ones like Simple and Sanex don’t seem to work well for my hair (although they’re fine for my scalp). I have allergies which can result in rashes all over my body, including my scalp, and when I’ve had an allergy flare up it can take a while to get my skin to settle down again.

The best I’ve found so far is the Garnier Ultimate Blends Oat Milk range, which works pretty well for my hair and my scalp but I feel like there may be something better out there that I haven’t tried yet too. Thanks for any suggestions!

We are the same used simple it was horrible we started using argan oil £1 each from home bargains they are really good

The Benefits of Argan Oil Shampoo for your hair

⦁ Increased Moisture: The moisturizers and antioxidants in argan oil will help to add shine and beauty to your hair and eliminate dryness and frizz. The moisture it contains can also ease irritation caused by a dry scalp.

I tried an Argan Oil one ages ago but I haven’t tried any from Home Bargains actually, despite going there all the time! I’ll have to take a look. Thanks for the suggestion!

Leannexxx It sounds like it could be a good option - especially given the price! Definitely worth a try!

That’s a shame. Can only imagine the ache of a head allergy! Have you read cleanser ingredients to see if they don’t contain the things that hurt your scalp?

I know soy is one thing I can’t have that can be hidden in things so this can be the case sometimes for sure. I wish they had to list allergens on products like shampoo like they do with food. It’d make it a lot easier!

I haven’t done yet - I’ll have to check it out! Now you mention it, one of my friends actually recommended the same one before lockdown last year and I forgot all about trying it, so I’ll have to check it out for sure. Thanks!
