What Do You Do with Your Shoe Boxes?

I recycle them. I have a few that have shoes in them but the majority of them I recycle or I keep them for the shoebox appeal.

I save a few for the shoebox appeal sometimes i reuse them to store other things in they are great covered for make up etc or i recycle them.

I either use them to keep things in or most of the time the children have them for school stuff. And that ends up just being left around the house when they bring them home

I keep most of them. I like them to help keep them in order or i sell them on and the boxes are good for that.

I don't keep shoe boxes but I pass them to someone I know that organises a 'fill a shoebox' so when I'm asked if I want the box in a shop I always say "yes". I have to own up to stashing my favourite glossboxes from a couple of years ago. I keep all my freebies in them now and I can smile sweetly to my OH who always wanted to know why anyone would want to keep a cardboard box........they are so strong!

This year I wrapped my saved shoe boxes with Christmas wrapping paper, layered tissue paper inside and then nestled peoples Christmas gifts inside. You could also do this with Birthday paper, makes it nice and easy for them awkward to wrap presents.

I used to save them to re use as parcel boxes, either for sending eBay items or sending birthday presents to my nephews in the post. If not I would recycle them

There are companies who, at christmas do shoe box campaigns, so it's worth just keeping your shoes in them till them and then donating. Often Guides and Brownies take them for their badge scheme so ask them if they would like them.

If its for shoes I don't wear often i keep the boxes, if not I use them for gifts or storage. Or maybe recycle

Mixture. Sometimes keep them for rarely worn shoes, sometimes use for storing other stuff, sometimes recycle.

They usually hang around the shoe cupboard for a bit whilst I think what to use them for... but they end up being played with by my 2 year old or for junk modelling for the other kids

This may sound odd but I store my shoes in them. Each one has a picture already on it so I know what is inside.

I have quite a lot of shoes and store most of them in the shoe box. When the shoes have past their prime I'll use older shoe boxes for storing books, documents and other bits & pieces.

I keep them in case we can use them for presents at borthdays and christmas.

I compost them. They break down and give the worms some meals.

I keep my shoes in them. Keeps them in the best conditions.
