How to Shop at Ikea
Ask a Question
How do shop at Ikea? Do you keep to path and follow the arrows all the way round or do you try to find a short cut ?
I go just as they open, that way the queues at the checkouts have not yet grown.
It's also good to have a firm idea of what you want, otherwise you'll be there for hours.
Don't spend too much at Ikea. Their products are for like one-time use because if you try to take it apart afterwards, it falls to pieces.
Looks nice, but it's cheap quality.
Best time is evening when the families have left. Don’t follow the arrows since learning the short cuts. Also going later means no queuing at checkout.
eyeballkerry sorry I should have said Monday to Wednesday and not during school holidays.
A trip to Ikea is a day out. You arrive and it’s utter chaos, so the first place to go is the loo. And then expect to spend a long time in the showrooms. I just pace myself and pretend I live in each section. If I get tired, and just rest on a sofa or a bed. Since finding out that Game of Thrones used Ikea rugs as part of the costumes, I now spend a bit more time in the carpets section pretending I’m a member of the Night’s Watch
Follow the path and walk all the way round, I like to look for inspiration and I am greatly angered by people walking round in the wrong direction! and by people walking too slowly....
