Sorry what? I didn't ask but I'm not sure if what you're saying makes sense anyway. If you can't pay third party sellers with Amazon vouchers, does that not rule out every website online apart from Amazon? I'll answer; yes.

Please clarify what you meant though.

Dennab I recently ordered something from a company and was given the option of paying through my Amazon account, which I did. It was so much quicker and easier than getting my card out and entering all my details.

Not sure about the voucher question though!

Lynibis Yes it works like paying with PayPal with one big difference. With PayPal, you can use your card or money stored within your PayPal account. With Amazon Pay, you can only use cards saved in your Amazon account as you did. You cannot use gift certificates / credit. They can only be used on the Amazon site (or app). I think Ann is saying you can but she's wrong.

Most that take Amazon Pay also take Paypal or normal cards . Can't see the advantage of Amazon pay unless you have shed loads of Amazon gift vouchers to get rid of . But they last for 10 years so don't really get it .

Golfforall You can't use the vouchers so it is indeed pointless if you have a PayPal account (or a card nearby). That's why so many retailers don't bother with it!

Dennab Don't get why you would want to then . I sometimes use Paypal for laziness (saves having to enter the card numbers, expiry etc ) but obviously not for anything more than a few quid that I could possibly need S75 for .

Can anyone tell be what advantage there is to using Amazon pay ?

I found that you can only use amazon vouchers on the amazon site

Of course I found this out after saving them for purchase on another site
