Should Online Deals and In-Store Deals have their own separate categories?
Feedback
In short, I think they should.
Online Deals literally means it's available for anyone in UK to buy (and abroad too, most retails) whereas In-Store Deals, you can only get that specific item by visiting that store (or a specific one).
I'd assume that "Online Deals" and "In-Store Deals" would be separated on Pedlar 2.0 but it hasn't happened so far. And those concerned about In-Store Deals not appearing, the option 'Latest' could cover it.
I mean, this is something that HUKD (sounds like 'hooked' ) has never fixed and we just became used to it but to be fair, I expect a bit of more organisation and sophistication from LD.
Not Laser Discs, Latest Deals.
Thanks Rockman - sorry I haven't replied until now! Do you think it should be an extra option when sharing a deal?
I'm keen to make sharing a deal as straightforward as possible so, if you have any ideas as to how we'd implement this without it being an extra dropdown I'd be very keen to hear them (I can't currently think of any )
Would you like to see instore/online deals as a main filter option on the site? Or hidden in the settings like the expired option? Or something else perhaps?
Thanks again for the feedback! Dread please do chip in too!
I think you could just have the little switch when creating the deal (like you do to expire a deal once you use edit) already set to online and just clicked for instore. If clicked for instore it goes in that section.
Definitely an option to filter out instore deals would be good. These are 99% of the time a wild goose chase and you aren't going to get it anyway.
