Do You like to Sit in Candlelight?

Ask a Question

I loved scented candles and like to sit in candlelight when watching TV or listening to music, I mentioned in passing on the phone to my to Mum that I was sitting in candlelight and she asked me if we had a power cut. Do you only use candles in a power cuts?

I love candles, I have loads of them, all different scented ones. I like sitting in just candlelight when I'm relaxing, it's cosy.

I do like it but rarely light them. I do it more often at Christmas time to get the cosy feel

Nope, never really been used to it to be honest. It doesn’t give much light if I’m trying to do things around the house.

I light candles in the winter as it gives a cosy ambience. They are usually lit once I’m ready to relax in front of the TV.

I rarely do, and even when I do, it’s very hard to see anything well, so no, I prefer bright light thanks

I don't have any candles in my house! We aren't allowed them anymore, but even when we were my husband lighted them for the smell, we never sat with just them for light.

It's not for light but for the cosy feel, I like watching TV without the main light on so lighting a scented candal covers all bases🙂
