I really can’t stand rugby (or football) being shown on the tv. The commentating the screaming the ooohing the ahhhhing the swearing the tears of joy and the tears or should i say out and out sobbing of loosing.... that’s just in my front room 
im off out and leaving my boys to it. Flipping rubbish.
I have some female friends who make a day of special rugby match days - the works! They get all the relevant snacks and alcohol in and wear their preferred team shirts and generally have a great time. They use this time as a get-together and you couldn't find a bunch of girlier ladies. lol. This is NOT my idea of fun so always refuse the invitation - just the constant shouting and cheering could turn me into a serious drinker. I'm with you on this one.
I have never seen a more emotional man than my sons watching their team win or loose ! They are usually quite quiet unassuming humans but watching a bunch of men run around a field with a ball turns them in to a species I don’t recognise
